About
Monica Kovacic wears a number of hats (figuratively – hats aren’t very flattering on her in the literal sense).
She:
- has contributed to Time Out Sydney’s Around Town section and Houzz;
- is a published journalist, with articles having appeared in The Australian;
- is a 2012 Law/Communications (Journalism) graduate of the University of Technology, Sydney;
- is passionate about cheetah conservation and greyhound welfare; and
- is the creator of The House Hunter.
Monica started The House Hunter as she realised her fixation with houses – whether it be grand Wahroonga mansions, decaying Stanmore terraces or contemporary architectural feats at Kangaroo Point – had reached the point where she wanted to pry deeper into their histories and create a photographic record.
Along with a passion for property, Monica is keenly interested in economics, fashion, restaurants and bars, tennis, current affairs and the welfare of animals. Her inspiration is her amazing Jack Russell, Max, who she misses dearly.
